Shackles are classified by their shape, material, size, and working load limit. While there are many types of shackles, different shapes are used for specific reasons.

Our line of shackles is manufactured using type 316 stainless steel, which is considered by many to be the best in class. 316 stainless steel is highly corrosion-resistant and extremely durable, even in the harshest conditions. It is often referred to as "Surgical Steel" due to its widespread use in food handling and medical industries.

US Type D Shackle The US type pin is much larger than a normal pin, allowing for larger load limits, making it ideal for in-line loads where a normal pin might bend.

US Type Bow Shackle Similar to the US Type D Shackle, the US type pin on the Bow Shackle is much larger, providing greater load limits and suitability for situations where a normal pinned bow shackle might bend.

Long D Shackle The longer body of the Long D Shackle allows for a greater weight-to-strength ratio.
