Metal Shackles are the most commonly used to connect chains or ropes and can be used in towing, anchor lines, dock lines, and more. Shackles are classified by shape, material, size, and working load limit, with various types and shapes used for different purposes.

Our line of shackles is made from type 316 Stainless Steel, considered by many to be the best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion resistant and very durable even in the harshest conditions, often referred to as "Surgical Steel" due to its use in food handling and medical applications.

Bow Shackle: Versatile Load Distribution The curvature of the bow allows for loads along various angles without developing a bend, making it often used to connect chain to anchors.

Wide D Shackle: Maximizing Mounting Area The wider body of the Wide D Shackle maximizes the mounting area, making it ideal for use on mooring buoys.

Hex Pin Shackle: Snag-Free Connections Hex pin shackles create a non-snag surface, making them great for connecting to anchors.

Anti-Off Shackle: Secure Permanent Connections The safety pin of the Anti-Off Shackle makes it ideal for permanent connections, preventing unlocking in situations that may cause a threaded pin to come undone.

US Type D Shackle: Increased Load Capacity The US type pin is much larger than a normal pin, allowing for larger load limits and making it ideal for in-line loads in which a normal pin might bend.

US Type Bow Shackle: Heavy-Duty Load Handling Similar to the US Type D Shackle, the larger US type pin on the Bow Shackle allows for higher load limits, making it perfect for situations in which a normal pinned bow shackle might bend.

Long D Shackle: Strength-to-Weight Ratio The longer body of the Long D Shackle allows for a greater weight-to-strength ratio.

Twist Shackle: Rotational Versatility The Twist Shackle is great for when you need to rotate gear for connection, yet don't want to use two connectors.

Key Pin Shackle: Quick Release Convenience Key pin shackles allow for a quick release and can be done single-handedly, making them great for situations in which the shackle must be undone often.

D Shackle: Inline Load Suitability The shape and curvature of the D Shackle make it ideal for inline loads, but it should not be side-loaded as this can cause bending.
