US Stainless: Offering a Comprehensive Range of AISI 316 Stainless Steel Hardware
We are a small, family-owned business operating out of Richmond, Virginia. Our extensive range of AISI 316 stainless steel hardware is suitable for boats, sailing, living near the beach, or anywhere that rust and corrosion is an issue.
Shackle Line: Connecting with Strength and Durability
Metal Shackles are the most commonly used to connect chains or ropes. They can be used in towing, anchor lines, dock lines, and more. Shackles are classified by shape, material, size, and working load limit. Our line of shackles is made from type 316 Stainless Steel, considered by many to be the best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion-resistant and very durable even in the harshest conditions. It is often called "Surgical Steel" due to its widespread use in Food Handling and Medicine.
Bow Shackle: Versatile Connection for Various Angles The curvature of the bow allows for loads along various angles without developing a bend. They are often used to connect chain to anchors.
Wide D Shackle: Maximizing Mounting Area The wider body of the Wide D Shackle maximizes the mounting area, making it ideal for use on mooring buoys.
Hex Pin Shackle: Preventing Snagging Hex pin shackles create a non-snag surface, making them great for connecting to anchors.
Anti-Off Shackle: Secure Permanent Connections The safety pin on Anti-Off Shackles prevents unlocking in situations that may cause a threaded pin to come undone, making them ideal for permanent connections.
US Type D Shackle: Handling Larger Loads The US type pin is much larger, allowing for larger load limits. This makes them ideal for in-line loads in which a normal pin might bend.
US Type Bow Shackle: Strength for Heavy Duty Applications The US type pin on the Bow Shackle is much larger than a normal pin, allowing for larger load limits. This makes them perfect for situations in which a normal pinned bow shackle might bend.
Long D Shackle: Optimizing Weight-to-Strength Ratio The longer body of the Long D Shackle allows for a greater weight-to-strength ratio.
Twist Shackle: Rotating Gear with Ease The Twist Shackle is great for when you need to rotate gear for connection, yet don't want to use two connectors.
Key Pin Shackle: Quick Release for Frequent Use Key pin shackles allow for a quick release and can also be done single-handed, making them great for situations in which the shackle must be undone often.
D Shackle: Ideal for Inline Loads The shape and curvature of the D Shackle make it ideal for inline loads. However, it should not be side-loaded, as this can cause bending.
All of our stainless steel 316 hardware is corrosion and rust-resistant, ensuring a long service life. We take pride in the quality construction of our products, which provides for smooth opening and closing, and a polished finish that looks good.
