Our Shackle Line

Metal Shackles are the most commonly used to connect chains or ropes, and they can be used in towing, anchor lines, dock lines, and more. Shackles are classified by shape, material, size, and working load limit, and there are many types of shackles, with different shapes used for various reasons. Our line of shackles is made from type 316 Stainless Steel, considered by many to be the best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion-resistant and very durable, even in the harshest conditions, and is often referred to as "Surgical Steel" due to its use in food handling and medicine.

Bow Shackle The curvature of the bow on our Bow Shackles allows for loads along various angles without developing a bend, making them often used to connect chain to anchors.

Wide D Shackle The wider body of our Wide D Shackles maximizes the mounting area, making them ideal for use on mooring buoys.

Hex Pin Shackle Our Hex Pin Shackles create a non-snag surface, making them great for connecting to anchors.

Anti-Off Shackle The safety pin on our Anti-Off Shackles makes them ideal for permanent connections, as it prevents the shackle from unlocking in situations that may cause a threaded pin to come undone.

US Type D Shackle The larger US type pin on our US Type D Shackles allows for larger load limits, making them ideal for in-line loads in which a normal pin might bend.

US Type Bow Shackle The larger US type pin on our US Type Bow Shackles allows for larger load limits, making them perfect for situations in which a normal pinned bow shackle might bend.

Long D Shackle The longer body of our Long D Shackles allows for a greater weight-to-strength ratio.

Twist Shackle Our Twist Shackles are great for when you need to rotate gear for connection, yet don't want to use two connectors.

Key Pin Shackle Our Key Pin Shackles allow for a quick release and can also be done single-handedly, making them great for situations in which the shackle must be undone often.

D Shackle The shape and curvature of our D Shackles make them ideal for inline loads, but they should not be side-loaded, as this can cause bending.
