The 316 Stainless Steel Windlass 5/16" ISO G4 Anchor Chain is manufactured to comply fully with all requirements of the US National Association of Chain Manufacturers' (NACM) specifications and is made to "G4" dimensions. This high-quality, marine-grade stainless steel (AISI 316) ISO G4 chain is suitable for use in a windlass as anchor chain or other marine applications where high corrosion resistance is desired.

This listing includes 40 feet of windlass chain before the shackles are added. Two quality 3/8" bow shackles are included with the chain, making it a complete package. The chain is superb for anchor chain and general heavy-duty work in a marine or chemically harsh environment.

The chain is designed to fit many standard windlasses. However, it is recommended to consult the windlass manufacturer's model manual to ensure the ideal specification for your particular windlass. The three important figures for smooth running of your windlass are the Diameter (DIA), Inside Length (IL), and Outside Width (OW), which are provided in the specification table.

The measurements of this chain are 8.3 mm x 26 mm x 28.4 mm (DIA x IL x OW), or 5/16" x 1.02" x 1.12" in Imperial specification, as G4 is generally considered an Imperial chain. Every 3 feet of the chain is hallmarked and stamped with "316," indicating the stainless steel grade.
