Shackles are classified by shape, material, size, and working load limit. There are many types of shackles, and different shackle shapes are used over others for various reasons. Our line of shackles is made from type 316 Stainless Steel, considered by many to be the best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion-resistant and very durable even in the harshest conditions. 316 Stainless is often called "Surgical Steel," as it is the go-to grade in Food Handling and Medicine.

Bow Shackle The curvature of the bow allows for loads along various angles without developing a bend. Often used to connect chain to anchors.

Wide D Shackle The wider body maximizes the mounting area. Ideal for use on mooring buoys.

Hex Pin Shackle Hex pin shackles create a non-snag surface. Great for connecting to anchors.

Anti-Off Shackle The safety pin makes anti-off shackles ideal for permanent connections. The safety pin prevents unlocking in situations that may cause a threaded pin to come undone.
